What is a Corporation?

A corporation is a business entity that is separate from the owner(s) of the business.

To become a corporation, a business must incorporate with a state. There are two basic types of Corporations: C-Corporations and S-Corporations.

An LLC is not a corporation, it is a Limited Liability Company that provide many advantages over corporations.
